NECTAR WINE STYLE

Poças Late Bottled Vintage (LBV) Port is based on a single harvest which is chosen by the oenologist as being of very high quality. After a period of between 4 and 6 years spent aging in wood, this wine is bottled and considered ready to drink, even though it also has great potential for further aging as it is an unfiltered Port. Ruby in color, the nose has notes of stewed black fruit, with floral and balsamic notes. The palate is long, enveloping and balanced with notes of red fruit jam.
