Twisted Vine Brewery
West Des Moines, Iowa
A very deep, dark, rich stout brewed with copious amounts of cocoa nibs and aged in a Templeton Rye whisky barrel. It is full-bodied with hints of coffee and oak in the nose. The flavor is complex yet smooth, with definite notes of espresso, chocolate, vanilla, and then finishes with a Port wine-like slightly sweet dryness. Allow to warm in a glass for several minutes before drinking to bring out all the complex flavors.

ABOUT THE BREWERY:
Founded by Brian Sabus, Steve Becker, and Steve Breman, Twisted Vine Brewery has been brewing beer for over five years in the rolling hills of Iowa. In 2015, Jasen Garrett and Paul Galloway joined as partners. All avid home-brewers, they set out with a simple mission to create shockingly good beer, even if it meant bending a few rules along the way. They look to continuously create hand-crafted unique, palatable and unpretentious beers. Learn more about their mission here.
