About Charles Krug Winery:

In 1861, Charles Krug is the visionary father of Napa Valley wine making and established his eponymous winery in Napa Valley, California. In 1882, Krug opened the very first public wine tasting room in California, giving birth to wine tasting as we know it today. In 1943, Cesare and Rosa Mondavi purchased the iconic Charles Krug 147-acre estate and built upon its reputation for innovation and uncompromising quality wines.
